For sale here is an Abel Pt. 5 fly reel and spare spool in excellent used condition. Serial # 3383, the reel is machined from aerospace grade bar stock aluminum and features black anodizing, ported & counterbalanced spool with rosewood grasp, textured drag knob and Abel's signature cork drag. Set up for RHW but can be switched easily. Mechanically perfect with a few very small scratches to the rim. The spare spool appears unused and is a later Super-style spool with teardrop porting and detent spring for an outgoing clicker. This reel has the earlier drag plate and thus is silent outgoing with both spools. The reel comes in the original Abel pouch, the spare spool is packaged with a Steve Abel branded pouch.
