Tibor/Billy Pate - Trout Fly Reel - Antireverse

For sale here is a Billy Pate 'Trout' anti-reverse fly reel made by Tibor. Excellent+ condition, the only signs of use are faint mounting marks to the foot and one very slight area of edge wear to the frame. Gold & black anodized, RHW. 3 1/16" diameter with an overall width of 1 5/8". Made for 4/5/6wt fishing, capacity is for a WF5 + 170. This is a discontinued model and the smallest size Billy Pate reel. A relatively scarce model, this one is stamped "12" on the frame next to the reel foot, although it looks like the "2" was stamped over a "0" (obviously done at the factory). Strong cork drag with anti-reverse design and palming rim. Sold in the original zipper case. N.B. the black lining of the case is deteriorating, leaving a powdery residue that cleans up easily.
