For sale here is a Winston 7'6" 2-piece / 1 tip 4wt, 3oz bamboo rod in excellent original condition. Serial #1092, made just after Winston's serial numbers rolled over from #9999 to #1000 in 1972. Hollow-fluted construction with medium tempered cane, bright guides and "putty" colored windings with oxblood accents. Both sections are full length & serialized, and the tip has a slight downward set. Duronz ferrules fit perfectly. Strap & ring hook keeper, Bakelite winding check and skeleton cork grip & reel seat. The cork is soiled but smooth. Scripted weight is 3oz, but my scale reads just under. Medium action, a delightfully smooth caster. The 7'6" 3oz rod is 1/8oz lighter than the cataloged "Leetle Feller". Sold in the original gray rod bag and aluminum tube with 80% label.
