For sale here is a Sage 'Center Axis' SPL 8'9" 3pc 4wt graphite rod & reel combo. Very good used condition, the reel shows more evidence of use than the rod. Built on a sanded green blank with matching wraps and gold accents. Cork grip shows just a hint of soiling. The reel is threaded directly into the rod and is set LHW although this can be reversed to RHW. Additional hardware is included to add a traditional reel foot so the reel can be used on any other rod. An interesting design, meant to provide a streamlined casting experience. Sold in the original Cordura clad partition tube.
