For sale here is a Limited Edition CFO III fly reel in mint condition. This gold anodized reel is machined out of bar stock aluminum and was released in 1977/1978. Limited to 300 reels, this is #90. Made in England by Hardys, the reel features 3-hole alloy foot, champagne gold anodizing throughout, ported frame and spool and adjustable drag. Set up for LHW but easily swapped to RHW. 3" diameter, the reel weighs 3.15oz. Best with a 4/5wt line. A collector grade example of the gold CFO. Sold in an Orvis zipper case with reel paper/blank registration card.
