For sale here is a Chris Henshaw 3 1/4" brass faced Perfect reel in excellent used condition. Black frame & spool with brass windings plate and the celebrated 1912 check mechanism. Strap-over tensioner works as intended, and the reel has a pleasant (and strong) RHW check. A wide spool 3 1/4", this feels like it would be a good reel for light salmon/steelhead fishing and would probably balance a variety of light spey/switch rods. The winding plate is stamped internally "CH177" while the frame is marked "CH001". Weight is 11.25oz loaded with backing. The brass parts show minor tarnish, and the black finish has a few very small nicks/scratches. Overall excellent and ready to fish. The reel packs into a leather drawstring VR Design pouch.
