Coyle, Jack - Model 4100-3, 8'4" 3/2, 4-5wt Hollowbuilt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a model 4100-3 8'4" 3-piece / 2-tip 4wt, hollowbuilt bamboo rod from the bench of Jack Coyle. Serial # 1/22-3, the rod is in as-new condition. Richly flamed cane with lightly oxidized snake guides and Mildrum stripping guide. Light brown silk wraps with pale olive accents. All sections are straight, full length and serialized, and the truncated Swiss ferrules fit perfectly. Both female ferrules are fitted with a tethered ferrule plug. The butt is scripted with model info and the maker's signature. 5.8" cork grip is clean and smooth, and the rod is fitted with a blued cap & ring reel seat over Koa wood spacer. A fantastic taper on the faster side of medium fast, I like it best with a 4wt. 3.4oz stated and actual weight. Jack's rods are the height of craftsmanship, and opportunities to purchase on the secondary market are rare. Don't hesitate to reach out if you're interested in this one.
