For sale here is a model 864-2df, 8'6" 2-piece / single tip 4wt hollow-built hex rod from the bench of Per Brandin. Medium flamed cane with hard coated snake guides and low-bridge red agate stripping guide. The wraps are golden brown with mahogany accents, and the truncated Swiss ferrules fit perfectly. All sections are straight, full length and serialized. 6" cork grip with blued NS cap & ring reel seat over mahogany spacer. A light and accurate caster with positive dry-fly action. Fished sparingly by the maker, the rod remains in excellent condition. Sold in the original bag and tube with canvas tube protector. From the collection of Per. G Brandin.
