For sale here is an Abel Big Game no. 4 fly reel in excellent used condition. Black anodized finish with solid frame & spool. Serial #425, RHW only. Strong cork drag with fantastic range. Mechanically perfect with minor signs of use in the usual areas. 3 7/8" diameter with a spool width of 1 3/8", weight is 14oz loaded with backing. Rated as a 12/13wt, but I suspect it would take an 11wt as well. A nice big game reel with the rarely seen solid spool (palmable). Sold in the original pouch with reel paper.
