For sale here is an Abel Big Game No. 0 fly reel and spare spool in excellent used condition. Serial #4443, the reel is machined out of aerospace grade aluminum and features black anodized frame and spool, ported & counterbalanced spool with rosewood grasp, textured drag knob and Abel's incredible cork drag system. Set up for RHW but can be switched easily. The reel is mechanically perfect and shows minor signs of use. The frame has a few very small wear spots on the rim. The spare spool is a later Super-style spool with teardrop porting and detent spring for outgoing clicker. This reel has the earlier drag plate and thus is silent outgoing with both spools. The spare spool appears unused and comes packaged in a Steve Abel branded pouch (reel comes in the original Abel pouch).
