For sale here is an early click and pawl Pflueger Medalist model 1494 in very good used condition. 3 1/4" diameter with an interior spool width of 3/4". The reel features a round Diamolite line guard, sculpted pillars and metal spool latch cover. The amber pyralin handle grasp has some very slight movement on it's spindle, but the rivet remains secure. Mid 1930's reel with "Patent Pending" stamp. A nice early medalist in the most desirable size for most trout fishing.
