Peerless - No. 2A Fly Reel

For sale here is a Peerless No. 2A fly reel in excellent+ condition. 3 1/4" diameter with 1 5/32" frame width and the weight is 5.21oz. Set up for RHW but can be swapped to LHW. The reel is machined from bar stock aluminum and features serpentine counterbalanced handle, ported spool and side plates, and adjustable check mechanism. One small nick on the handle side at the 2 o o'clock position and one end of the reel foot looks like it was lightly filed on the corners, otherwise the reel is flawless. The 2A is a nice size for 5/6wt fishing, with added control from the adjustable drag. Sold in the original shearling zipper case.
