Islander - No. 2 Fly Reel w/ Spare Spool

For sale here is an Islander No. 2 fly reel with spare spool in very good used condition. 3.75" diameter with a spool width of 0.85" and the reel weighs 9.7oz loaded with backing (Serial #2923). Best with a 7 or 8wt line. Gold anodized throughout with counterbalanced and ported spool. Minor wear/scratches, mostly relegated to the rims. Stopping power is provided by Islander's highly regarded cork drag system. These reels were developed and produced in Canada with an eye towards saltwater and steelhead fishing. A very solid saltwater reel designed for heavy use in all conditions. Both spool come loaded with 20lb dacron backing. Original black neoprene case is included, along with a spare drag plate and draw bar.
