For sale here is an F.E. Thomas Special Streamer, 9'6" 3/2 bamboo rod in very good original condition. Medium tempered cane with heavy wire guides wrapped in dark brown windings with variegated accents at the male ferrules and hook keeper. All sections are straight & full length, and the ferrules fit perfectly. Nickel silver winding check with integrated hook keeper, 6.75" cork grip and down-locking reel seat over wood spacer. The spacer has one small ding that was varnished over. The pocketed nickel silver butt cap retains a very crisp F.E. Thomas stamp in cartouche and has a provision for a fighting butt though none is present. The tag indicates a weight of 7oz, but my scale reads 7.60oz. The action is medium fast, and it feels like it would handle an 8wt with ease. Sold in the original bag with hangtag and champion tube with intact F.E. Thomas decal.
