For sale here is a 3" Pattern 1 fly reel made for Allcock by J.W. Young. Very good used condition, featuring a smooth brass foot, crazed erinoid handle, nickel silver retaining screw and intact red agate line guard. The leaded finish shows even wear but remains nice and dark. 3" diameter with a spool width of 3/4", a great vintage JW Young for most 4/5wt fishing.
