For sale here is a Sage LL 9' 5wt, 2 piece graphite fly rod in excellent+ used condition. This is from the third generation of Sage's storied graphite rods, released in 1989. Dark burgundy blank with matching windings & mauve tipping at the ferrule and signature wraps. Western style cork grip is clean and smooth. Nickel silver up-locking reel seat over dark wood spacer. The blank is clean and blemish-free, and the rod has clearly seen very little use. The butt of the reel seat has little tarnish that could be easily polished. These early LL's have a well deserved reputation for being some of the finest graphite rods ever produced. Comes with original sock & tube, and blank warranty card.
