For sale here is a Billy Pate 'Tarpon' direct drive fly reel made by Tibor. Excellent used condition, featuring a gold anodized frame with solid black spool. Strong adjustable cork drag and palming rim for added control. Light rim rash at the bottom of the frame and a few spots on the spool. An early Tarpon reel with the serial E61. Weight is 12.70oz. 3.75" diameter with a frame width of 1.96", capacity is for a WF11 + 320yds. Sold in the original box with pouch, papers, takedown tool and a tube of grease.
