Thomas & Thomas - 25th Anniversary Rod & Reel

For sale here is a Thomas & Thomas 25th anniversary rod and reel. Both are in mint/unused condition and bear matching serial numbers (#7 of 50). The rod is a 7'6" 2/2 3wt featuring tiger striped flaming, tiger maple reel seat with cork inlay, blued hardware and swelled butt. The sections are straight, and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. All the cork is bright and clean. The reel is made of bright aluminum with brass foot & spool. Counterbalanced S-handle, fixed check (essentially neutral), and quick takedown mechanism. These reels were custom made by Bill Ballan for the anniversary series, limited to 50 examples and the one packs into the original wooden display box. The reel is unused and shows minor handling marks/brass tarnish. Minor shelf wear to the box itself, just a few surface scratches on the bottom. The rod is pristine and packs into the original bag with stiffener and gorgeous hand tooled leather tube made in Italy by Giorgio Benecchi. One of the most attractive rods T&T has ever produced, they pulled out all the stops for their 25th anniversary and this rod & reel combo is a true time capsule.
