For sale here is a Hardy Perfect 3 3/8" fly reel in near mint condition. Late 1970's/early 1980's vintage with conical spindle boss and flawless agate line guard. RHW only. Rim mounted tensioner works as intended, and the gray enamel finish is perfect. The smooth alloy foot is clean and bright with no signs it was ever mounted on a rod. The only thing keeping this reel from being described as mint is a small halo of oxidation around the aluminum spindle boss. This is clearly just from age, I'm confident the reel was never lined or used. Sold in the original blue & cream clamshell case with papers.
