For sale here is a rare LHW, pre-WWII 3 1/8" Hardy Perfect fly reel in very good used condition. Leaded finish, ribbed brass foot and ebonite handle grasp. The line guard is made of bronze and appears to be original. True LHW check, however the spare spring & pawl are oriented RHW. The tensioner works as intended with strong resistance at the top end. The finish is almost completely worn but remains free of any major defects. A few nicks and scratches from age and honest use. The ported spool has a knurled nickel silver retaining screw (reverse threaded). Weight is 6.36oz. A rare pre-war lefty in the perfect trout size.
