For sale here is a 3 3/4" salmon/spey reel & spare spool from the bench of Ted Godfrey. LHW, excellent used condition (serial #319). A 1990's reel machined of barstock aluminum and anodized silver with black sideplates. Featuring Ted's exclusive 10-position adjustable cork drag, single screw take-down and S-handle with wooden grasp. Mechanically flawlessly and the reel shows very little cosmetic signs of use. The sideplates measure 3 3/4" across with pillar widths of 1.375". An absolutely gorgeous reel, purpose built for tackling big fish on two-handed rods. The spare spool appears to have seen little use. Both reel and spool are packaged in a dual-sided suede zipper case.
