Charlton - 8550c Fly Reel w/ Tarpon Spool - RHW

For sale here is a Charlton 8550c fly reel in excellent+/near mint condition. RHW with the Tarpon spool. The 8550c's have been the absolute gold standard for big game fly fishing for many years. The machining is perfect, the type III anodizing is tough as nails, and the fully sealed carbon drag is buttery smooth throughout its astonishing range. This one is loaded with a 10wt line and backing, but I strongly doubt it ever saw the water. The beauty of the Charlton configurable reels is that spools of different sizes are interchangeable. The Tarpon spool is great size for a wide variety of applications. Sold in the original Cordura case.
