For sale here is a Bill Ballan 2 7/8" Trout Classic fly reel in very good used condition. Gold anodized frame with black sideplates. 2 7/8" pillar to pillar measurement. RHW or LHW. S-handle has makers name on the counter balance and the black composite handle spins freely. Smooth reel foot is unaltered and the reel comes loaded with line and backing. The edges show some cosmetic wear, but the reel is mechanically perfect. A fine example of Bill Ballan's work, sold with the original shearling lined leather case.
