Charlton - 8450c Fly Reel w/ 2 Spare Spools - All 3 sizes

For sale here is a Charlton 8450c fly reel with all 3 spool sizes (7/8, 5/6 & 3/4). Excellent used condition, each spool is loaded with line & backing. The reel has some mounting marks to the foot and some faint scratches from use. The spools are quite clean except for the 5/6 which has a few small nicks and a ding that spans both sides. This is cosmetic and does not affect the reel mechanically; all 3 spools fit perfectly with the frame. Jet black Type III anodizing throughout, the spools are set up LHW but the reel swaps to RHW very easily. Telephone dial drag adjust works as intended with an incredible range of resistance. With all 3 spool sizes this set should cover your bases from light trout fishing all the way up to light salmon or even bonefish. The reel w/ 7/8 spool packs into the original blue Cordura case, as does the 3/4 spool. The 5/6 comes in its original box. This set comes from the collection of Richard R.
