For sale here is a mint John Gierach Signature model bamboo rod made by Mike Clark of South Creek Ltd. 7'9" 3/2 for a 5wt line. Medium tempered cane, dark chestnut windings with gold and black accents & full intermediates. Blued ferrules fit perfectly and the females are fitted with machined aluminum & cork ferrule plugs. The grip is encased in the original plastic, and the rod is fitted with blued & engraved nickel silver reel seat hardware over handsome burl spacer. Medium fast action, a stone mint SCL Gierach Signature, signed by both the maker and the celebrated author John Gierach. Sold in the original blue suede rod bag and brass capped tube with data label affixed.
