Simroe, Ted – 8’ 4wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an 8’ 4 weight bamboo rod in mint, unfished condition built by legendary builder Ted Simroe. This is a model 2804 (serial #809), two piece / two tip rod. Beautiful light straw colored cane with gold wraps and dark green tipping. 6” cigar style grip retains its original plastic wrap. Nickel silver cap and sliding band reel seat with gorgeous mortised wood spacer. Nickel silver checks and ring hook keeper. The swiss style ferrules measure 13/64 and fit perfectly. The rod weighs 3 1/2 oz and comes with tan cloth bag with leather tab and brass capped aluminum tube.
