For sale here is a beautiful Jim Reams 8'6" 2/2 4-5wt hollow bamboo rod in excellent+ condition. Medium flamed cane with oxidized snake guides and carbide stripping guide. Wraps are transparent olive with chocolate brown accents. Truncated Swiss ferrules fit perfectly. All sections are full length, straight & serialized (#380), and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. Skeleton cork grip is clean and smooth. The bluing on the cap & ring reel seat hardware and the ferrules remains near perfect with just a but of edge wear. Weight is 3.83oz. On the faster side of medium fast, a true 4/5wt rod. Powerful yet crisp, an ideal rod for technical dry-fly waters (Henry's Fork, Missouri, etc.). Lightly used and well cared for. Sold in the original bag and tube with custom canvas tube protector.
