Orvis - "99" 8' 2/2 7wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an Orvis "99", 8' 2/2 7wt impregnated bamboo rod. Good used condition, one tip is original and the other is a replacement with much lighter toned cane. Red wraps throughout with dark guides and blued Super-Z ferrules. Ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length & serialized (#41026). Both tips have slight fish fighting sets. 6" cork grip is lightly soiled & ridged, and the rod is fitted with the standard Orvis down-locking aluminum reel seat. One condition note: the tip top on the original tip has some rust in the hoop. The next owner may wish to clean this up before fishing. Stated & actual weight is 4 3/8oz. Orvis rates this as a 7wt but it's best with a DT6. Sold in the original bag and what may be the original tube, but the label has been relocated to the bottom.
