For sale here is a Leonard Duracane 805, 8' 2-piece / 2-tip 5wt impregnated bamboo rod. Excellent original condition, Serial #2538. Medium tempered cane with 3x3 nodes, oxidized snake guides and ceramic stripping guide. The plastic bezel on the stripping guide is cracked on one side, but the ceramic ring is stable and unmarred. Chocolate brown windings throughout with dark tipping. All sections are straight, full length & serialized. 12/64 ferrules fit perfectly, and one of the male ferrules has scratch to the bluing. Skeleton cork grip & reel seat with cap & ring hardware. The cork is smooth and clean, and the blued hardware shows minor finish loss. Weight is 3.44oz. Medium fast action, a good all-around trout rod with a DT5. Sold in the original bag with stiffener, and brass capped tube with H.L. Leonard data label affixed.
