Jenkins, C.W. - Model GA70, 7' 2/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a C.W. Jenkins model GA70, 7' 2/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent+ / near mint condition. The reel seat hardware has a bit of tarnish, and the wood spacer has a few small mounting marks, otherwise the rod looks unused. Blonde cane with dark guides and brown windings with gold & purple accents in the Payne style. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight, full length & serialized (GA70-38). Bend loop hook keeper, 6" cigar grip (pristine), and cap & ring reel seat over fine wood spacer. The base of the butt cap is engraved "The Jenkins Rod". Weight is 3.42oz. Medium fast dry fly action, I like this model with a WF5 but this rod should cast a DT4 as well. A very fine Jenkins rod in near-new condition. Sold in the original bag and tube with gold data label affixed.
