Heddon - #13 Lucky Angler 6'6" 2/2 5wt (0 1/2F) Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a rare 6'6" Heddon #13 "Lucky Angler", 2-piece/2-tip bamboo rod. This is a 0 1/2 ferrule rod, I like it best with a 5wt line (DT or WF). Excellent condition, all original except the reel seat was swapped for a proper Heddon replacement. Medium tempered cane with bright guides wrapped in orange windings with dark tipping. The sections are straight and full length and the ferrules fit perfectly. A few chips & checks in the varnish but overall, the varnish and wraps look very good. Script on the butt section is clear and bold, and there is a small protective stripe of varnish over the rod details (probably covering some chipped/scraped varnish). U-shaped hook keeper, 5.25" cork grip (clean and slightly ridged), and dark green pyralin reel seat with nickel silver hardware.  Weight is 3.2oz. A lively rod with medium fast action, it recovers quickly and is capable of tremendous accuracy even at long distance. The #13 model was a lower grade for Heddon, but any 6'6" Heddon is rare. Sold in a replacement bag and tube.
