Downes, L.J. - 76149, 7'6"' 3/2 5wt Quad Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 7'6" 3/2 5wt quad bamboo rod from the bench of Jim Downes. Excellent used condition, featuring blonde cane with bright guides and red agate stripping guide. Wraps are color preserved yellow tan with red tipping and variegated accents. Bright ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length & straight. 6" cork grip is squared at the winding check and leads into a nickel silver cap & ring reel seat over blonde maple spacer. The maker's stamp is crisp on the butt cap and all the hardware is knurled. Weight is 3.84oz. Excellent condition throughout, the only signs of use & age are some minor grip soiling and a few wraps that are just barely starting the process of drying out. Nothing that needs immediate attention. Medium fast action, I like it with a DT5. Sold in the original bag and tube.
