Carlin, Chris - 9' 3/2 7/8wt Quad Bamboo Rod - Spliced Joint

For sale here is a 9' 3/2 8wt spliced joint quad from the bench of Chris Carlin. Model S300QH, serial #1719. Medium tempered cane with bright guides and transparent red windings. 6,75" grip is clean and smooth, and the rod is fitted with an up-locking reel seat that tightens by turning the 1.5" fighting butt. Weight is 5.33oz. Powerful, medium fast action. Rated as a 7/8 and outfitted with saltwater-ready hardware, this would be a great steelhead/salmon or saltwater rod. The cork is bright and the rod appears to have seen little use. Each splice has a plastic splice protector. Sold in the original bag and tube with maker's label affixed.
