For sale here is a Marc Aroner 7'6" 3/2 4wt F.F. (Full Flex) Hunt Pattern bamboo rod in mint condition. Offered as a one-of-a-kind taper, designed to load more under its own weight without being overly soft. Flamed bamboo with 3-up nodes, red agate stripping guide and pale green wraps with red tipping. Waisted ferrules fit perfectly, and the females are fitted with brass & cork ferrule plugs. All sections are arrow straight & full length. 5.5" cork grip is smooth and bright, and the rod is fitted with black reel seat hardware over a highly figured wood spacer. Acorn butt cap and the collar bears the maker's roll stamp. Weight is 3.74oz. It feels like it will be on the medium side of medium fast. Fine tips and a gently swelled butt should make for a nice accurate dry fly rod. A truly deluxe Aroner rod in as-new condition, I don't think it has ever been cast. Sold in the original (signed) bag and brass capped tube.
