For sale here is a Mario Wojnicki model 217P4, 217cm (~7'2"), 3-pc 4wt fiberglass rod in excellent used condition. Serial #9120. Built on an un-sanded yellow glass blank with oxidized guides wrapped in transparent windings. Sections are serialized and witness marked, and the spigot ferrules fit snugly with gaps to allow for wear. 5.5" slender cork grip is smooth with light soiling. Dual slide bands over wood spacer with Micarta cork check and butt cap. Slight bluing loss on the slide bands, mostly on the upper one. Medium fast, parabolic action. Mario's tapers are refined and produce extremely smooth casting rods. Perfect with a DT or WF4. Sold in the original fold over bag and aluminum tube with the model stamped on the cap.
