For sale here is a 7'8" 2/2 3wt hollow built bamboo rod from the bench of Jim Reams. Excellent+ used condition, #280. Flamed bamboo with 2-opposed nodes, dark snake guides and carbide stripping guide. Wraps are oxblood with dark tipping. Ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized. 6" grip is clean and smooth, and the rod is fitted with Jim's signature slide band reel seat with flared burl spacer. The bluing is in near-perfect shape, and the rod appears to have seen very little use. Weight is 3.32oz. Medium fast action, the rod has lots of feel and quick recovery. A dreamy small stream rod, best with a DT3. Sold in the original bag and tube with custom tube protector.
