Jenkins, C.W. - Model GA70L, 7' 2/2 4wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a C.W. Jenkins model GA70L, 7' 2/2 bamboo rod in mint condition. Golden straw-colored cane with oxidized snake guides and chrome stripping guide. Chestnut wraps with yellow gold tipping, and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. All sections are straight, full length and serialized (#17), and the Swiss-style ferrules fit perfectly. Bent loop hook keeper, 6" cigar grip and bright cap & ring reel seat over dark wood spacer. The pocketed butt cap reads "The Jenkins Rod" at the base. Weight is 3.28oz. On the medium side of medium fast, a smooth progressive taper with plenty of soul. I've looked the rod over carefully and I see no evidence it's even been cast. Sold in the original bag and Champion-style tube with gold data label affixed.
