For sale here is a scarce Per Brandin Model 225 (225cm), 7'4.5" 2/2 spliced joint bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Made in 2006. Marked for a DT3, though some will prefer it with a 4wt line. Medium fast dry fly action with a unique semi-hollow construction. Medium flamed cane with oxidized guides wrapped in transparent brown silks and black accents. The banded red agate stripping guide has a slight forward lean to it. All sections are straight, full length and serialized, and the splices comes with Brandin's signature splice protectors (one protector is just starting to fray at one corner). 4.5" tapered grip with blued nickel silver cap & ring reel seat over mortised mahogany spacer. The cork is smooth and lightly soiled, and the rod remains in excellent shape overall. A versatile small stream rod, and a taper rarely seen on the secondary market. Sold in the original bag and tube with makers decal and canvas tube protector. From the collection of Thomas H. Clark.
