For sale here is a Bogdan Model 150 Salmon Reel with spare spool. The reel shows signs of heavy use throughout, with pervasive scratches to the rims and side plates. The bottom pillar has some line burn which is covered by a rare U-shaped line guard, installed by Stan probably in the 1980s. Black anodized side plates have faded to a steely gray color, and the handle side has a few prominent scratches around the spool retaining screws. Cosmetically compromised but mechanically flawless, the drag adjust works as intended with strong top end resistance. The reel is fitted with poachers check, 1.9:1 multiplying gear and the famous Bogdan double drum drag. The spare spool looks to have seen very little use, and the reel packs into a Homa block leather case. Weight is 11.46 ounces. A pure user, ready to fish
