For sale here is an Abel Big Game no. 3 fly reel in very good used condition. Black anodized finish with solid frame & the rarely seen solid spool. Serial #538, RHW only. Strong cork drag with fantastic range. Mechanically perfect with minor signs of use in the usual areas. The reel foot is slightly bent at one end but the reel fits in my saltwater reel seats. 3 7/8" diameter with a spool width of 1 1/8", weight is 13.55oz loaded with backing. Rated for 10/11wt fishing. A heavy-duty big game reel, sold in the original pouch with reel paper.
