For sale here is a Mario Wojnicki model 257, 8'5" 3-piece 3wt fiberglass rod in excellent used condition. Made for Per Brandin when he and Mario shared a shop space in El Cerrito, CA. The butt is scripted with the model and serial number (#3196), and "Handcrafted for Per Brandin". Built on a maroon sanded blank with bright guides wrapped in dark green windings with red and light gray accents. Spigot ferrules fit nicely with a small gap to allow for wear over time. 5.6" cork grip is clean and smooth, and the rod is fitted with a natural nickel silver cap & ring reel seat over dark wood spacer. Medium fast, progressive action with a fine tip. It feels like it would be a wonderful dry fly rod, and some may even like it with a 4wt line. Sold in the original bag and tube.
