Winston - 8' 2pc 3wt Fiberglass Rod

For sale here is an 8' 2pc 3wt SF-era Winston fiberglass rod in excellent condition. Marked "8' - DT3" on the butt, this appears to be an uncatalogued taper. Built on a dark brown blank with bright guides wrapped red with gray accents. Spigot ferrule fit snuggly with ~1mm of gap. Gold-cup San Francisco decal on the butt section. Strap & ring hook keeper, 5" modified wells grip (clean & smooth), and down-locking gold anodized reel seat. Weight is 2.25oz. This is a neat taper with medium fiberglass action. It casts a variety of 3wt lines just fine. Excellent shape throughout, the rod appears to have seen little use and has just a few small mounting marks to the reel seat. Sold in what appears to be a replacement bag and tube.
