For sale here is an 8'6" 4wt, 2-piece graphite rod from Tom Morgan Rodsmiths in near mint condition. Serial #07-4-05 (made in 2007). The rod features a deep burgundy blank with bright guides and light red agate stripper, all wrapped in burgundy windings with gold accents. Nickel silver checks, 6.5" full wells grip and up-locking nickel silver reel seat over dark burl spacer. The butt cap bears the TMR logo, and the original owners name is scripted on the rod. The only sign of age is the dark residue left by the suede interior of the rod bag; an almost universal feature with these bags. Tom Morgan Rodsmiths makes some of the finest graphite rods available, and this one has been lawn cast only. The rod is packaged in the original satin & suede rod bag and hexagonal burgundy heirloom tube featuring custom made fixtures and knurled cap with sterling silver TMR insert. The tube comes in a black quilted protector with drawstring closure.
