For sale here is a Thomas & Thomas 'Special Trouter' 7'6" 2/2 bamboo rod for a 4-5wt line. Excellent used condition. The Special Trouter rods were designed for anglers interested in superior quality at a reasonable price. Built on a golden colored impregnated blank with 3-up nodes and bright guides wrapped in transparent honey windings. Bright NS ferrules fit perfectly, and each section is straight, full length and serialized (#2980). All cork grip and reel seat with NS butt cap & aluminum slide band. The butt cap retains the T&T stamping, and the cork is soiled but smooth. Weight is 3 1/8oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast, the rod feels great with a WF4. Sold in the original bag and unmarked Champion tube.
