For sale here is a Thomas & Thomas Montana, 8'6" 3/2 6wt bamboo rod in very good used condition. Serial #4337. Medium tempered cane with 3x3 nodes, transparent windings with honey-colored accents. All sections are full length, straight & serialized. Blued ferrules fit perfectly and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. Strap & ring hook keeper, swelled butt, 6" cork grip and up-locking nickel silver reel seat over dark walnut spacer. The cork has some soiling and a few light bag marks/indentations but nothing worrisome. The reel seat collar is engraved and includes the classic T&T script. Weight is 6.53oz. Medium fast action, this is a powerful 6wt that will cast a mile. Signs of honest use but overall, a very nice T&T Montana. Sold in the original bag with stiffener and brass capped tube with 80% data label.
