Thomas, F.E. - Dirigo 9' 3/2 Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 9' 3/3 F.E. Thomas Dirigo bamboo rod. Good condition throughout, though several guides and intermediates have been re-wrapped, including the entire butt section. The ferrules appear to have been reset and the rod received an overcoat at some point. Crimson red wraps, oxidized reverse twist snake guides. Ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight & full length. 4.75" cork grip is clean with just a hint of ridging. Nickel silver reel seat with pocketed butt. The reel seat is stamped "Dirigo - F.E. Thomas - Bangor, ME". Medium/slow, full working action. It feels like a 6 or 7wt. Sold with the original bamboo tip tube and replacement bag & tube.
