For sale here is a very nice bamboo companion rod, new from the bench of Bill Taylor. Two butts and two identical tips, one butt makes a 7'3" rod and the other makes a 7'9". Hollow built, quadrate construction with bright snake guides, yellow agate stripping guides and golden tan windings with copper tipping. The sections are straight and serialized, and the fiberglass ferrules fit perfectly. Both butt sections have all-cork grips and reel seats with cork-over-metal slide bands. The 7'3" configuration is 2.50oz and the 7'9" is 2.96oz. Two nice dry fly rods, best with DT3 or WF4 lines. Sold in the original bag and tube with maker's logo affixed.
