For sale here is an R.W. Summers Model 275, 7'6" 2/2 4wt bamboo rod in near mint condition. Dark flamed bamboo, 3x3 nodes, oxidized guides and transparent brown windings. Blued 13/64 ferrules fit perfectly. All sections are full length and serialized (#12679), and one tip has a slight set. This is a bit of a head scratcher as the other tip is quite straight and the rod looks essentially unused. Bent look hook keeper, 6" cork grip and dual slide bands over cork spacer & walnut butt/cork check. All the cork is pristine. Weight is 3.07oz. Medium fast, semi-parabolic action, best with a DT4. A beautiful rod from the bench of Bob Summers, looking much the same as it did on the day of delivery. Sold in the original bag and tube.
