For sale here is a Bob Summers Model 275, 7'6" 2/2 4wt bamboo rod in very good used condition. Medium flamed cane with 2x2 nodes, oxidized snake guides and transparent brown windings. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#9179). 13/64 ferrules fit perfectly. Bent loop hook keeper, 6" cork grip and dual slide band reel with walnut accents. The cork grip and reel seat spacer are stable but show significant ridging. Weight is 3.05oz. Medium fast, semi-parabolic action. The rod feels great with a WF4 line, and I suspect it may cast a lighter 5wt just fine. This is an older Summers rod (made in 1979), but besides the cork ridging and a few tiny varnish checks/scratches the rod is holding up nicely. Sold in a replacement bag and what is probably the original Champion tube.
