For sale here is a spectacular limited set of 3 Deluxe II trout reels from Joe Saracione. Sizes are 2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/4", all having a spool width of 7/8". Made in the American tradition of Edward Vom Hofe reels, featuring ebonite side plates, nickel silver bands and counter balanced S-handle with white handle grasp. The reel feet are aluminum and each bear makers mark, serial #006, and the original owner's name. Fixed checks with LHW bias. All three reels remain unused with faint handling marked to the nickel silver rims. This very slight discoloration will polish out beautifully if the next custodian desires. The set packs into a highly figured walnut box with burgundy velvet interior and brass hinges. 3 heirloom-quality reels in a regal presentation box. Very few of these sets were made, don't miss this ready-made collector’s piece.
